More Ways to Spend that RP budget

Continuing the theme from last...uh, month's post, allow me to flog yet another site for rpers. Following the link from Obsidian Portal, I discovered a place called Avatar Art. This is great stuff! They do a portrait of your character. (Yes, ok, that was obvious)

Going from Obsidian Portal (as a member, may be different if you're not) you get a $5 discount - which, incidentally, goes to Obsidian Portal - so you're funding 2 great rp resources at once. Anyway, Avatar has a wide variety of levels of detail for the portrait, depending on just how much you want - ok CAN - spend. You fill out their creation guide, send them the money (PayPal or check) and they get to it as quick as they can. They're kinda busy right now, after GenCon and so forth, but they still got cracking on mine. And they are GOOD.

Anyway, I heartily recommend them for those of us that can't draw worth a damn, but always wish we had a picture to show folks. Enjoy!

Um...hi

Ok, so I'm as bad at regular blogging as I am at regular correspondence. Since I'm doing a bunch of other rp-based/campaign type web stuff (all highly technical terms, those) I'll try to give this a bit more of a whirl.

Anyway, to any other junkies like me I will recommend a few places to visit. First off, Gnome Stew - they call themselves a blog for GMs, but I find a lot of interesting tidbits for players too, not to mention the helpful links to gaming tools.

Among those tools mentioned are 2 campaign hosting sites - EpicWords and Obsidian Portal. Both very good. More interesting if everyone - or at least a majority - in the campaign is interested in participating, but still...

Anyhoodles, just a line to let my non-existent fan base know I'm back.
